We are currently operating an email only based booking system. This is a very conscious decision for a number of reasons, and it may work or it may not, but we are trialling it for this season!

We are in a slightly unusual position where there are 2 pubs with the same name, very close together (as the crow flies), and we have had too many instances where guests have inadvertently booked the wrong Buck Inn and have booked with us but turned up at the other pub (and vice versa).  This offers neither pub the opportunity to be able to re-book the room at such short notice if the guest chooses to stay at the pub they arrived at but didn’t book with. We don’t want to leave any guests disappointed or start levying cancellation fees for genuine errors.

Additionally, we are not using booking platforms that charge in excess of 14% commission, which unfortunately we have to pass on to guests.

So until we come up with a master solution……To make a booking please submit a request to thebuck.buckden@gmail.com and we will book you in if we have availability, and provide an email confirmation with our address so there is hopefully no confusion.  Our research indicates a personal email is more likely to be read than an automated output from a booking system, so we are going to give it a go!

Accommodation

We currently have 11 en-suite rooms:
2 standard twin rooms and 3 standard double rooms at £115 per night
1 king size room at £125 per night
2 superior double rooms at £135 per night
2 single occupancy rooms (with a small double bed), and 1 small twin room at £105 per night
All prices include breakfast.
A deposit of £20 per room per night will be required upon booking, deposits are non-refundable but are transferable onto another booking.
Check-in is from 3pm and Check-out is by 11am.
